Increase Accountability of the Board to the Public Improve Budgeting Process Increase Community Involvement
Questions by the public can be asked via email* or at school board meetings. Board Policy should be that questions asked by the public at board meetings will be answered at next board meeting. They will also be posted on the District website at https://www.geneva304.org/FAQ/faq.asp.

Minimize the yearly tax levy increase by requesting an amount that will cover budget needs and provide a realistic reserve fund. The maximum levy should only be requested after the board proves that the increase is needed.
Administration is given direction by the school board.

District 304 School Board should invite budget preparation and input from a committe of residents representing business, educational and economic interests.
